This is what I did...so what did you do today?

I'm not sure what 2013 will bring, but I know that it will be a gap year for me from full time study. I am making the most of this opportunity and have decided that I want to do something new every day. Now, this may be quite an over ambitious thing I'm wanting to achieve here, but by trying to make the most of everyday, I believe that it will really help me to be grateful for the short 24 hours in a day. So, on this blog I'll post up things which I find made my day something to be grateful for, and I hope it inspires you to make the most of yours too.

My blog will change as the year goes on and as I get better at this whole blogging thing, but for now I'm still totally new at this, and my blog has new-blog-smell.

I am currently on holiday in the USA with my beautiful mum. I have seen snow only once when I was in primary school, but the snow fall was light and to get a hand full of it, I had to scrape it off of the cars parked in the driveway. Eleven years later, I have finally gotten the chance to experience the fluffy white type of snow that you seen on TV. I'm from Australia by the way...so we don't get much of snow there. My Grandma, Grandpa, mum and I drove out to Cave Lake in the small town of Ely Nevada. Today I froze my butt off in below zero degree weather, but I didn't care because i was too busy enjoying the beauty of snow.
